The International Centre for Entrepreneurship (UGM) supports entrepreneurship by streamlining the development of entrepreneurial ecosystems.
UGM supports the fortification of entrepreneurial ecosystems by forming partnerships and establishing experience and information sharing between relevant entities across Turkey. It strengthens entrepreneurial ecosystems in domestic cities and acts as a bridge between domestic and foreign urban ecosystems.
The International Centre for Entrepreneurship also endeavors to create entrepreneur-friendly policies and innovative spaces to provide entrepreneurs with suitable environments.
Moreover, UGM supports the development of entrepreneurship in Turkey by improving the public opinion of entrepreneurship, increasing the frequency of innovation, expediting the formation of sustainable business models, and acting as a mediator between entrepreneurs and investors.
UGM produces efforts towards community development with social and economic value added through its parent partnership with the Turkish Ministry of Development, UNDP, Habitat and the Vodafone Foundation in Turkey. With more than 120 active local, regional and national partners including tech companies, public institutions, international organizations, NGOs and initiatives that are part of the entrepreneurial ecosystem that spans each and every one of the 7 geographic regions of Turkey. It is also the co-coordinator of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, which is celebrated concurrently in 157 countries.
