About the Project

While Covid-19 pandemic is dominating the world as a health crisis, the economical problems it brought along are also continuingly deepening. SMEs (Small and Medium sized Enterprises), which in comparison to large companies have more fragile marketplace and financial structure, experience serious difficulties because of stagnation of demand and disruption in manufacturing processes. Within this scope, it is inevitable to increase durableness of SMEs and provide their sustainabilities in Covid-19 pandemic.

The Transforming SME Programme, which is financed by Standard Chartered Foundation and conducted by the cooperation of Youth Business International and Habitat Association, aims at increasing durableness of SMEs in fields of technology and finance. In this extent, it is aimed to reach 600 SMEs through Covid-19 Durableness Increasing Trainings that include SME-Oriented Financial Transformation and Digital Transformation trainings. 30 of SMEs that participate in trainings will be included in Entrepreneurship Camp and Accelerant Programme which will be realized at the end of the year and grant support to 3 selected SMEs will be given. Besides, it is aimed to make many SMEs informed about financial transformation, digital transformation and support programmes by online webinar series.
