Global Money Week

Global Money Week (GMW) is an annual financial awareness campaign built to inspire children and young people to learn about money matters, livelihoods and entrepreneurship. This event is celebrated during the last week of March every year. The purpose of this event is to provide basic financial literacy knowledge to children and young people by using fun and interactive methods. Hundreds of NGOs, universities and high schools from all over the world come together to raise awareness every year and they are looking for ways for future generations to become conscious about financial issues and to make their financial decisions more accurately. 7.8 million children and young people were reached in partnership with more than 23,000 organizations from 151 countries in2019. Within the scope of the I Can Manage My Money Project, which is implemented with the partnership of Habitat Association, UNDP and Visa Turkey, Global Money Week has been celebrated every year since 2013. We train thousands of people together with our volunteer trainers to spread financial literacy knowledge to children and young people.
