The Olympic Values Education Project, in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Habitat Association, and Visa Türkiye, aims to promote Olympic and Paralympic values and sports culture, raise awareness about gender equality, inclusivity, solidarity, peace, and human rights through sports, and enhance the participation and confidence of children and young people in sports and social life.

Olympic and Paralympic values education is disseminated through volunteer ambassadors from 12 selected provinces as part of the project. These volunteer ambassadors participate in trainer training sessions to learn the educational content, workshop facilitation, and communication techniques. After the trainer training, the ambassadors convey the content to the 11-14 age group and the 15-18 age group in the 12 provinces involved in the project.

Local collaborations result in workshops and activities within the scope of Sports Festivals. In these events, successful athletes in Olympic and Paralympic sports, new generation sports initiatives, and young people come together. Additionally, the Journalism Mentorship Program conducted under the project aims to hold digital journalism and sports reporting workshops with children and young people during the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games, and to publish an Olympic and Paralympic journal with the created content.

The ‘Sea Culture Camp’ is implemented to encourage girls to love the sea and carry this awareness throughout their lives. This event, organized with national sailors, takes place with the participation of girls from the earthquake-affected region. The event’s program includes a wide range of activities, from canoeing to sailing, swimming to meditation, and hiking to seminars.
