Sustainable Livelihoods Train-the-Trainer Program

Implemented in collaboration with UNICEF and Habitat Association as part of the Geleceği Eşitle (Equalizing the Future) Project, the Sustainable Livelihoods Train-the-Trainer Program aims to strengthen the digital competencies and social entrepreneurship skills of Turkish and foreign young people aged 15-24 living in Türkiye.

The training will take place in person on September 11-12-13, 2026 and aims to equip young people with knowledge and skills in sustainable livelihoods, entrepreneurship, financial literacy, market analysis, and digital skills.

What Will the Training Cover?

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about:

  • Sustainable livelihoods and key concepts,
  • Business idea development and design thinking,
  • Skills discovery and competency mapping,
  • Networking, collaboration, and investor pitch preparation,
  • Revenue model development,
  • Basic financial literacy,
  • Market analysis and pricing,
  • Basic legal knowledge in entrepreneurship,
  • Company types and the fundamentals of taxation,
  • Digital identity, branding, and digital marketing tools.
Who Can Apply?

The Sustainable Livelihoods Train-the-Trainer Program is open to Turkish and foreign young people aged 15-24 who:

  • Are motivated to become volunteer project trainers,
  • Can dedicate time to the project,
  • Have basic technology skills,
  • Have strong presentation and communication skills,
  • Can report on the trainings they deliver.

Applications are open to young people living in all 81 provinces of Türkiye. The program is limited to 25 participants.

What Are the Responsibilities of Volunteer Trainers?

Volunteer trainers who successfully complete the Train-the-Trainer Program will be expected to work in collaboration with the project team and share the knowledge and skills they gain through the program.

Volunteer trainers are expected to:

  • Organize at least 2 trainings every month,
  • Disseminate the training content and reach more young people,
  • Reach at least 100 people by December 2026,
  • Report the trainings they conduct,
  • Contribute to the communication and promotional activities of Habitat Association and the Geleceği Eşitle Project.
When and Where Will the Training Take Place?

📅 Date: September 11-12-13, 2026
📍 Format: In-person
👥 Capacity: 25 participants
🎓 Certificate: Participants who attend the full training program will receive a Trainer Certificate.

The training is completely free of charge. Accommodation, meals, and transportation expenses will be covered for participants, provided that they attend the program in full.

The city where the training will take place will only be shared with applicants who are selected for the program. Full-time participation in the Train-the-Trainer Program is required.

Following the application deadline, candidates who are positively evaluated in the first stage will be invited to an online interview.
