We Signed a Cooperation Protocol with the Ministry of National Education for Digital Competencies!

We signed a cooperation protocol with the General Directorate of Innovation and Educational Technologies (YEĞİTEK) of the Ministry of National Education. Within the scope of the protocol, it is aimed to implement competency development programs for children, youth, teachers, parents, and women.

 

At the ceremony held in the YEĞİTEK meeting hall, the cooperation protocol was signed between YEĞİTEK Director General Mustafa Canlı and our Executive Board Chair Bora Caldu. In the remarks made during the signing ceremony, emphasis was placed on the importance of public–civil society collaborations producing measurable, field-level outcomes in line with the Ministry of National Education’s vision of quality, accessibility, and sustainability in education.

 

The protocol aims to contribute to strengthening digital skills in line with the Ministry of National Education’s educational vision and to support raising awareness across different segments of society through education and activities.

 

Speaking at the signing ceremony, YEĞİTEK Director General Mustafa Canlı stated: “As also emphasized by our Minister, Mr. Yusuf Tekin, from the very beginning of the process, we attach great importance to ensuring that all activities carried out in the field of education are conducted under the coordination and guidance of our Ministry. With this protocol, we aim to further strengthen ongoing processes and advance our cooperation within a framework of shared principles and rules.”

 

Speaking on behalf of Habitat Association, Executive Board Chair Bora Caldu said: “We see this cooperation with the Ministry of National Education as an opportunity to create long-term and sustainable social impact for children, youth, teachers, and families. We are pleased to sign this protocol in order to contribute to the development of next-generation digital competencies in alignment with the Ministry’s educational vision and priorities.”

 

Within the scope of the signed protocol, it is planned to implement training programs, workshops, seminars, and training-of-trainers activities in areas such as artificial intelligence and digital literacy, as well as coding, STEM, environment and sustainability, entrepreneurship, and competency development for teachers, parents, and women.

 

In addition to Mustafa Canlı and Bora Caldu, the signing ceremony was attended by YEĞİTEK Deputy Director General Ahmet Şamil Demircan, Head of Administrative and Financial Affairs Mahmut Çolak, Head of Monitoring and Coordination Bora Civan, Head of Digital Skills Sümeyye Hatice Eral, Head of Content Development and Management Emrullah Uzun; and representing Habitat Association, Executive Board Member Taha Aydoğmuş and Digital Transformation Program Director Elif Yıldırım Başer.

 

The ceremony concluded with a commemorative photo session and the presentation of gifts.
