Transforming SME

About the Project

The Transforming SME Program aims to increase the capacity of SMEs and young entrepreneurs in the field of technology and finance. Funded by the Standard Chartered Foundation and carried out in partnership with Youth Business International and Habitat Association, the programme has been implemented to increase the resilience of SMEs in the face of the economic challenges brought about by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Compared to large companies, SMEs, which have a fragile market and financial structure, inevitably need to increase their resilience, and ensure sustainability during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. In this context, the Program organizes capacity-building training and workshops. The Program carries out Idea Marathons for young entrepreneurs and entrepreneur candidates working in the fields of inclusivity and sustainability. Selected SMEs participating in the Entrepreneurship Camp and Accelerator Program provide grant support to young entrepreneurs and entrepreneur candidates.
