EmpowerMe: Youth Summit Applications Are Now Open!
We are looking for young volunteer trainers for the EmpowerMe: Youth Summit, taking place in person on December 2–6, 2026, as part of the EmpowerMe: Youth Program, implemented in partnership with Alshaya Group, Habitat Association, and the Starbucks Foundation.
Aiming to strengthen the social and economic resilience of young people in Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Jordan, the EmpowerMe: Youth Program is welcoming new volunteer trainers for its third year. At the summit, young people aged 15–30 will receive training in one of five different topics of their choice, based on their interests. Following the summit, they will deliver training sessions to young people in their own cities on a voluntary basis.
In addition to the training sessions, inspiring panels, seminars, and interactive sessions will support participants’ personal and professional development while helping them build a strong network with young people from across Türkiye.

Who Can Apply?
Applicants must:
Be between 15 and 30 years old and reside in Türkiye.
Be motivated to become a volunteer project trainer.
Be able to dedicate regular time to the program.
Have basic technology, presentation, and communication skills.
Be able to regularly report on the training sessions they deliver.
Responsibilities of Volunteer Trainers
Organize at least two training sessions each month and report on the sessions delivered.
Help expand the reach of the training sessions and act as a program ambassador when needed.
Work collaboratively with the project team to contribute to the program’s objectives.
Carry out promotional activities for Habitat Association and the EmpowerMe: Youth Program.
Summit Details
Full-time attendance throughout the summit is mandatory.
The program is entirely free of charge. Accommodation, meals, and transportation expenses will be covered by Habitat Association, provided that participants attend the entire program.
Participants who attend all sessions in full will receive a Volunteer Trainer Certificate.
Applications are open to young people from all 81 provinces of Türkiye. Each training topic has a limited capacity of 30 participants.
Each applicant may apply for only one training topic. Applications submitted for multiple topics will be considered invalid.
Candidates who pass the initial screening will be invited to an online interview. Accepted participants will receive the city where the summit will take place and all relevant details via email.
