AI Startup Studio Welcomes Young Entrepreneurs to Its New Cohort!
Launched under the Artificial Intelligence Stars Project through a collaboration between the Vodafone Foundation and Habitat Association, AI Startup Studio is bringing together young technology enthusiasts from across Türkiye for a new cohort.
AI Startup Studio aims to empower young people to develop AI-powered projects that offer innovative solutions to societal challenges. The program follows a three-stage, spiral incubation model that combines training, mentorship, coaching, and project development.
This year, the program will focus on the theme “Digital Well-Being in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” Participants will be encouraged to use their AI and entrepreneurship skills to explore the impact of technology on individuals and society and develop innovative project ideas that create social value.
The program provides high school students with the opportunity to develop their ideas in artificial intelligence through an entrepreneurial perspective and turn them into viable projects. Throughout the program, participants will take part in a comprehensive learning and development journey covering everything from AI fundamentals and entrepreneurship to project development and effective presentation skills.
Who Can Apply?
High school students aged 14–16 are eligible to apply. Applications will only be accepted from teams, with each team consisting of a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 students.
Advanced coding skills are not required to participate. An interest in technology, a willingness to learn, and a desire to develop innovative solutions to societal challenges are all that is needed.
Each team must also have an advisor who will guide them throughout the program. Advisors will follow the students’ progress and support their teams throughout their project development journey.
This Year’s Theme: Digital Well-Being in the Age of Artificial Intelligence
This year, AI Startup Studio will focus on Digital Well-Being. Teams are expected to identify a problem related to the impact of technology on individuals and society and develop an innovative, socially beneficial solution using artificial intelligence.
During the application process, teams must describe the problem they have identified within the scope of Digital Well-Being and share their AI-powered project ideas for addressing it.
What Awaits Young Participants?
Through AI Startup Studio, young participants will attend training sessions and workshops, receive mentorship and coaching support, and develop and test their project ideas. Throughout the program, they will have the opportunity to apply the AI and entrepreneurship skills they acquire to their own projects.
In the later stages of the program, teams that have developed their ideas will have the opportunity to present their projects to industry representatives and investors at Demo Day.
AI Startup Studio aims to empower young people not only to use artificial intelligence but also to analyze problems, develop solutions, and take action with an entrepreneurial mindset by leveraging AI.
How to Apply?
Applications will only be accepted from teams consisting of 2–3 students. Each team must appoint an advisor and provide the advisor’s details in the application form.
Teams are expected to explain the societal challenge they aim to address within the scope of Digital Well-Being and describe how they plan to develop an AI-powered solution to tackle it.
