If you would like to become one of the volunteer trainers of the AI Stars Project, implemented in partnership between Habitat Association and the Vodafone Foundation, you can apply now to participate in the hybrid Train-the-Trainer Program, which will be held on September 19-20/25-26-27, 2026.
If you are ready to complete the training and commit to delivering training sessions on a regular basis, simply fill out the application form below!
Note: Wondering how you’ll find the children you’ll be training? Don’t worry! You are welcome to take the initiative and reach out to participants yourself, and as Habitat Association, we will also support you in connecting with children for your training sessions.
Who Can Become a Trainer?
We welcome applications from individuals aged 18 and over, especially teachers with an interest or background in artificial intelligence, and people who are motivated to become volunteer trainers. Applicants should have strong communication skills (or be eager to develop them), be able to dedicate time to the project, possess basic technology knowledge, keep up with technological developments, have an interest in programming, think analytically, take responsibility, have strong presentation skills, be able to report on their activities, and be curious and open to continuous learning.
What Are the Responsibilities of Trainers?
Volunteer trainers are expected to work closely with the project team and, based on the Train-the-Trainer Program they complete, deliver at least one training session per month. Trainers are also expected to submit training reports regularly and stay in communication with other Habitat volunteer trainers. In addition, trainers are expected to support the promotional activities of both Habitat Association and the AI Stars Project and serve as ambassadors for the project.
